How to Activate the Fortnite Shop Token

Activation steps

1. Step 1Return to the Fortnite lobby after receiving Pirate Shop Access.
2. Step 2Open the Item Shop.
3. Step 3Select the Plunder the Shop banner or button.
4. Step 4Confirm whether you are viewing the 2026 or 2027 token.
5. Step 5Choose Activate Now only when you want the 14-day timer to begin.
6. Step 6Return to the shop throughout the active period and manually claim eligible items.

Before you start the 14-day timer

• Check whether the cosmetics you want are currently in the Item Shop.
• Make sure you can log in regularly during the next two weeks.
• Confirm the token says 2026 if you are activating the 2026 window.
• Remember that future rotations are not granted automatically.
• Plan to open the shop and claim each eligible item manually.

What happens after activation?

Eligible items sold for V-Bucks should display as free during the active window. Claiming an item adds it to your Locker permanently; access ending does not remove already claimed cosmetics. Real-money products, gifting, and pass-level purchases are excluded, while Sidekicks have an additional one-copy or ownership restriction.

Can the 2027 token be used now?

Current gameplay reporting shows two distinct access items: one linked to 2026 and another to 2027. The 2027 token should not be treated as an extension of the current 2026 window. Keep it for the eligibility period displayed in game.
